For many years the AID Bank (www.aidbank.com) has supported and instigated investment for new industries in Dominica. Call Centers are seen as part of the Information Technology Business Sector by the Government of Dominica and the AID Bank of Dominica was instrumental in the establishment of Call 767 Inc. Call 767 is located at The Canefield Industrial Estate near the city of Roseau which, together with other Business Parks on the island, is owned and maintained by The AID Bank. The building occupied was re-furbished to a very high standard during the last two months of 2004 and now Call 767 provides its staff with a modern air conditioned environment to work within. UK Training consultants delivered initial training to the Customer Service Representatives (CSR’s), which started in October 2004 and continued daily until start of business in the fist week of January 2005. Center management is provided by US and Caribbean industry professionals who have many years of experience in the Call Center industry. |
