dive site directory is a non-profit making organisation based in Surrey providing dive site reviews on diving locations worldwide. They requested a simple, clean contemporary corporate identity and web site design.
We based their logo and brand identity on the bubbles released from a divers breathing regulator and combined this with clean, crisp typography. This brand was then taken through to their site design, which is based upon a simple structure and strong use of white space juxtaposed with striking underwater photographic imagery. The navigational structure of the site includes a stylised world overview map, drilling down to an extensive number of individual location maps including Fiji, the Caribbean, the Red Sea, the Canary Islands, Indonesia, Malta and the UK that can be used to quickly to drill down and find information on a specific location or dive site.
The site was built to allow pages and new site sections to be added quickly and easily enabling dive site directory to add their own content. This has allowed the site to grow quickly and encompass as many dive site locations as quickly as possible.
